No NDA. Which I was surprised at, but it is very highly polished for an Alpha. No bugs that I've personally seen. Other players have had a problem with a DirectX file missing (reinstall DirectX fixes). The only other issues people are having are more presentation than bugs (shields taking damage could be presented better and HUD too bright compared to the rest of it).
It is only single player at the moment, with a few missions loosely tied together with a tiny bit of a story, but the multiplayer will be coming soon-ish.
I haven't finished it yet. I got as far as the energy signature management mission (shields/weapon/energy as in X-Wing, and powering them off completely for stealth), then ran out of free time.
